Description
About this set
The Chomping Monster Book of Monsters brings the unruly living textbook from Hogwarts creature lessons into LEGO form across 518 pieces. You recreate its shaggy cover in bricks, along with the eyes, teeth and fangs. Wheels hidden underneath give it a pull-back action. Pull it back on a flat floor or table, let go, and it zooms off with its jaws snapping open and shut.
It’s rated 9+ and suits Harry Potter fans who want a model that actually does something, not just sits there. A Neville Longbottom minifigure is included. Since the set is retiring, new sealed copies will be harder to come by over time.
Highlights
- Pull-back motor on hidden wheels sends the book racing
- Mouth chomps as it speeds across the floor
- Furry cover, eyes, teeth and fangs shaped in bricks
- Neville Longbottom minifigure with a tiny Monster Book piece
